Is Free Thought Allowed For CO Dems?

Is there room for freedom of thought in the Democratic party? Recent events in Colorado make it seem like the answer is no.

Earlier this year, advocates for school choice, who also happen to be Democrats, were flatly rejected by their party at a statewide convention. In April, Chalkbeat reported:

“Delegates at the Colorado Democratic state assembly Saturday sent a clear message to the state chapter of Democrats for Education Reform: You don’t have a place in our party.”

Proving that Democrats in Colorado will in fact boo and scream down members of their own party for holding beliefs that they don’t completely agree with, members voted that the organization can no longer include “Democrats” in their name.

Now, Colorado’s Democratic Party says that anyone who isn’t fully in favor of unlimited abortions aren’t welcome in the party. Check out this video from RevealingPolitics.com:

Is there still room for freedom of thought in Colorado’s Democratic party, or should we start guessing which group will be shunned next?
