Take the TABOR debate to the people

Colorado Rising Action Wants to Debate Merits of TABOR

Denver, Colo. — Colorado Rising Action Executive Director Michael Fields wants to take on anti-Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR) activists and bring the debate directly to the people of Colorado.

In response to the liberal Colorado Fiscal Institute calling TABOR “hot garbage” Fields, a strong supporter of TABOR, suggested town hall style debates around the state. Colorado Fiscal Institute has since deleted their tweet, but you can see it here:

The Colorado Fiscal Institute is behind an effort to place a measure to fully repeal TABOR on the ballot, which has twice been denied by the Title Board.

Colorado Fiscal Institute has not replied to Fields’ invitation to debate.
